LAND3 Studio was the lead Landscape Architect on the new KU Health Education Building located at the corner of 39th & Rainbow. Charged with creating an iconic landscape, LAND3 Studio drew inspiration from the rolling Kansas flint hills and worked with the design team to create a series of exposed skylights for the building below.

These sculptural building forms became the backdrop to an extensive green roof and a semi-public gathering space. LAND3 Studio’s final scope included the design of the green roof, irrigation, hardscape, furnishings, and plant selection.
